Passed 70-285

Barely, but passed 727.
I failed this exam on the first try with a 572 little time ago and I've been able to re-take it only today.
Happy as ever, because I knew I was on the border, but two punches well hooked in the last round made me win.
I strongly suggest Transcender and MeasureUp for prepairing this test and do labs and read much as You can.
Much of old stuff, that made the preparation extremely boring, like involving Windows NT and Exchange 5.5.
Thanks GOD, I can pass over.
And thanks to all which directly or indirectly helped me to cross this rock.

    Awesome. Great job!
    IT guy since 12/00

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...

Congratulations on the pass. What's next for you?

    Free Microsoft Training: Microsoft Learn
Free PowerShell Resources: Top PowerShell Blogs
Free DevOps/Azure Resources: Visual Studio Dev Essentials

Let it never be said that I didn't do the very least I could do.

Congratulations on the pass rj. This one's next on my plate after I get the beta exams and the 622 out of the way.

BTW, I know this test focuses more on design so any books you'd recommend? Or is it just TechNet the way to go?

    So what's next.
    NSX, NSX, more NSX..

    Thanks all men. icon_biggrin.gif

Well, I think now my next step will be the 70-293 finally, that I postponed from the day of my 70-291 pass (September in the past year, hope to remember it enough well).

@Essendon: ther's no book for this exam, or at least I was not able to find one, so essentially I went the first time not knowing exactly what I could find, but strong of the second shot offer.

Be sure to cover all the topics for this exam, over all:
    - Migrations from 5.5 and NT
    - GAL syncrhonizations with the ADC
    - DNS topics related to e-mail systems
    - Choosing the right connector solution
    - Choosing the right cluster solution
    - Routing Groups usage
    - Choosing the right client solution (very well)
    - Administrative models (very well)

All those could seem simple topics in a single straight question, but in the case studies format you must remain concentrate for a long time researching the right information time after time, that made the greater difficulty for me on this one.

And remember to get your free second shot prior.

@dynamik: of course, I'll try to take a (first) look over the Exchange 2007 exams even. :)
