Celebrating 2 years in IT

AldurAldur Member Posts: 1,460
As I sit here in the lab of a major teleco testing out multimillion dollar equipment I just realized that yesterday was my two year milestone in IT. It's been a wild ride so far to say the least.

It's crazy to think that about 3 years ago I changed my major from zoology to computer science. At that time I knew something about computers and absolutely nothing about networking. Through the help some some great teachers, one actually ;), I was able to learn this stuff and really dig in.

It's been fun and I can honestly say that I really love and enjoy my job now. Here's to another 2 years icon_thumright.gif

Thanks for all the congrats guys. I definitely am glad I made the jump from zoology to IT. My brother graduated with a bachelors in zoology and he's had serious troubles finding a job.

If only we could combine brains :D

I really want to pick up some good cisco knowledge and be certified in both vendors. I'm planning on taking the JNCIE-ER in June and if all goes well I'll be hitting the books hard and learning some cisco routing :)
