An NT question
canaan
On our NT server, it's set up(by somebyd before me) that you can only login as "admin". If I try to log in as administrator or any new user I create, it says:
"cannot find domain controller for this domain"
Anybody has a solution for this??
Thanks in advance.

maybe your nt server used to be a bdc or a member server of a domain, so it try to find its domain controller...

log in as admin & take of the security for the administrator login off. You will now login as "administrator" and not admin.

maybe this is what they called "tattoing". any policy changes made on NT server must be explicitly reversed when they are no longer use ? correct me if i am wrong...
