I did not red bold where Terminal services has been renamed Remote Desktop Services. Some original topics from Server 2008 have been eliminated.

NOTE: Some subtopics in Sharepoint foundation are similar to those for Sharepoint 3.0 but since sharepoint HAS changed it's best to just learn sharepoint foundations . Sharepoint 3.0 was the version that came with Server 2008 while Sharepoint Foundation is included with Server 2008 R2.

Here's two books on IIS 7 that I'm finding very good reading for the 643 exam. Both of these texts have really enabled me to get my head around IIS a lot more:

Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 Administrator's Pocket Consultant by William Stanek.

Stanek is a favorite author of yours truly. His lucid writing style is excellent. At the top of this thread Claymoore list the IIS 7 Resource Kit, it is indispensible to understanding the architecture of IIS.

Am soooo glad I found this as am just starting studying for this. done the 70-640, 70-642 and on tuesday 70-680. The 642 was the hard one as the books I have dont have R2 in them so 1st try was epic failure. But swatting up helped and passed it.

Im taking this exam on tuesday. Im really confused about something. For IIS portion. Are we still using IIS6.0 like in the examples in the wiki for this exam? Or Has the test been upgraded to Server 2008 R2, which includes IIS7.0 What are the differences between IIS6.0 and IIS7.5 regarding FTP and how to administer a FTP server?
