Hi all.
I have a Cisco 870 that I can no longer connect to via the console connection. The CD light flashed constantly; is this a sign of a fault?
The only thing I can remember from when I last logged on to this router was that I may have been in rom monitor mode.
Any ideas?

I believe this series of routers has a reset button on the back you can try. This will wipe out any config you have saved but you may not have any other options. -

Tried the reset button and the carrier detect LED is still flashing. I also now get a load of "C"'s from the console output.
