Prevent Users from Shutting Down
Right now I have some of my users logging on to one of my servers via terminal services. Is there a way to prevent the users from the Domain Users groups from accidentally shutting down or restarting my server? I would like to only give them the option to log off.

yep, open up group policy and create a new policy that you want to apply and then go to User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Start Menu and Taskbar, there you will see "Remove and prevent access to the Shut Down command". Enable this and apply the policy. -
