I was reading through the objectives list I received from Comptia and they list P2P as something to review. Are they talking about peer to peer networks or point-to-point?

Just kidding. I would assume peer-to-peer. I've never seen point-to-point abbreviated that way.

Its peer to peer, though I do recall a question or two on point to point on another more difficult security exam

Yes, P2P does refer to peer-to-peer networks (file sharing).

Point to Point Protocol is abbreviate as PPP.
