So with all the people passing 70-649 I had to give it a shot too - okay to be honest I can't let dynamik get that far ahead of me...
So I spent the past couple evenings with the new 70-648/649 MS Press book and wrote the exam this afternoon. Not at all what I was expecting content wise, like others said all over the map with the quality of the questions.
880 overall, and the breakdown was as follows:
70-640: 880
70-642: 887
70-643: 880
Picked up the 70-647 book this afternoon and I'll try to block off some time next week. Wish me luck.

Either way, grats!A+/N+/S+/L+/Svr+

astorrs Member Posts: 3,139 ■■■■■■□□□□Okay 70-647 passed with an 841 (not the greatest). Didn't get much time to study, only was able to read 1/3 of the MS Press book for 647 (it's pretty decent) and only got through about 50 questions on Transcender last night. Looks like my experience with the product was sufficient, so that's a good thing.
My biggest complaint about the exam was the unbelievable amount of focus on one subject in particular. We either get it or we don't Microsoft - how about testing us on some of the other objectives? Sheesh!
P.S. You loose dynamik... -

Nice one, congratulations.
I think I'll take a crack at this one after my week off (in fact June 11th looks good) -

After that I'll slow down, might finish up my CCEA in time to take advantage of the 1 exam upgrade to CCEE that expires this time next year.
Update: Oh and I plan on doing my EMCSA too - forgot about that one - before the Citrix stuff. -
bertieb Member Posts: 1,031 ■■■■■■□□□□Congrats on wrapping up the EA astorrs!

1fastvx Member Posts: 4 ■□□□□□□□□□By chance did you get any subnetting or IPV6 questions? I am trying to decide how much time to towards that section.
The CBT nuggets videos dont even touch on those areas, so I was wondering if they focused on those questions at all?
Thanks,
