The words 'good' and 'simulator' don't go in the same sentence unless the sentence is "this simulator is good for nothing!" :P
If you really want to go down the simulator path then maybe Boson Netsim?

Use packet tracer for a simulator, if you can get your hands on a copy.Jedi never stop training......
