dynamik Banned Posts: 12,312 ■■■■■■■■■□Schneier has a lot of good books. Mitnik's are definitely worthy of a read as well. The Hacking Exposed series is great, along with Gray Hat Hacking, and the Open Source Penetration Tester's Toolkit. A lot of "fun" books that aren't directly cert-related.

Johansson, Steve Riley: Books It's a bit dated, but you can't beat the used price. One of the authors also wrote the Server 2008 Security Resource Kit: Amazon.com: Windows Server 2008 Security Resource Kit (PRO - Resource Kit): Jesper M. Johansson: BooksAdd Security Engineering by Ross Anderson to the list. Great information and not cert based.
