I receive the "Hacking Exposed for Windows" book in the mail today.

Schneier has a lot of good books. Mitnik's are definitely worthy of a read as well. The Hacking Exposed series is great, along with Gray Hat Hacking, and the Open Source Penetration Tester's Toolkit. A lot of "fun" books that aren't directly cert-related.
