Port Security

(config-if)#switchport port-security is, apparently, an unrecognised command.
And so is #show mac address-table.
Any ideas? It's a 2900 series switch running 12.0.
Cheers

I'm not sure if this matters, but what specific 2900-series are you using?
There are some pretty significant differences between them. -

Hi I am sure these features are not available until 12.1, I'm sure someone will correct me if I 'm wrong. Your best bet is to get a 2950 as you will find the 2900 will be restricted on quite a few features.
Also check out the following link as a good guide to what features are supported on which platforms:

Yes, it is just "port security" and not "switchport port security"
And "mac-address-table".
It's a shame that this switch doesn't use the commands as stated in the Lammle book - I might have a look for a 2950.
Thanks for your help.
