You know why they started this offer now? Because my trial ran out two days ago, and I was charged for the first month of my full membership icon_lol.gif

I bought 3 real books last night on line from Cisco Press.... and nearly forgot to uncheck the "free immediate access" option via Safari. Not sure about the "fine print" on that one. icon_lol.gif

If you already have Safari, it's a good freebie because you can read the book right away while you wait for the hard copy.

Otherwise, you may as well uncheck it since you'd have to sign up to access the e-book.

Safari Online Books is a legitimate site. Ditto for InformIT. They need a credit card to make sure people don't just keep using free trials of the service and never actually buying a subscription...
