Hi gusy. I need again your expert recommendation. How do i monitor hsrp changes in an L3 switch and failover/failover changes in an ASA? Is there an application that i can use? Or is it possible to do this with CNA?
Thanks.
Thanks.

marcusaureliusbrutus Member Posts: 73 ■■□□□□□□□□Hi. Thanks for the reply. When you say snmp collectors, do you mean to say there is a collector available that would be able to log hsrp changes and failover changes?

Do you know what SNMP is? If not you can start here - Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made. -

An SNMP agent, even if like Orion or CiscoWorks, can be setup to notify you, page you, email you... kick your butt outta bed at 2am if you like. There are only 10 kinds of people... those who understand binary, and those that don't.
