Router: 2650 is this a good deal?

I found a CISCO 2650 Router 128/16 DRam is 128MB, so I'm assuming that it has 16 MB of flash memory. It shows that it comes with 2 WIC-1T's. IOS is version 12.2.



I also found two other used units for sale for $55.00 each. They have 128 MB of DRAM and 32 Flash. But it doesn't appear they have the WIC-1T's. Which would be better? Would the 2650 be better than the 2610XL's?

What does it cost to upgrade the IOS?

Is the 2650 the XM model? If not, you might want to get the 2610XM's if you are just starting to build your lab. It is always nice if they include the wic's, saves you from having to buy separate.

Upgrading router IOS you need to have a CCO account. You can get switch IOS for free with a guest account.

I would look for a 2650xm with 256/48. I just purchased 4 for $95 each and a 1 year warranty.These will come in handy if you decide to go for your NP because you can do everything for the exam.
