Win 7 Beta Results (None Yet)

I know it should take 8 weeks or more to see the reults but I am getting antsy. With the massive amount of response they got do you think they will be able to stick to the 8 eek average? Any body heard whispers on the interwebs?

I thought it was 6 weeks?

Monday makes 4 weeks since the day the beta ended so im hoping it isnt too much longer.

I check it every day. lol

Ive been checking the "Candidate History" page on my prometric login.

It shows the status of every test youve taken...right now it says "Tested" and it will eventually show "Passed" or "Failed".

I saw the beginning "Win 7 Beta results" part and my heart skipped a beat, I thought they released the results!! GAH!! Alas, I'll have to go back to waiting impatiently I suppose.

I've also been checking on the MCP site & Prometric site on a regular basis - not quite daily, but at least every couple days. I'll be surprised if I passed though, I'm not so good with the corporate level stuff and this was much (much much) more of an enterprise level exam than 620 was.

I had honestly forgotten about this exam. I guess I don't care enough about the results. I do hope my feedback helped make the exam more difficult though since I'm mean like that.

I have been checking prometric every other day or so.... I am not very patient about this kind of thing...

I hate waiting for beta results. It seems like as soon as you finally forget about it, *cough* someone *cough* starts up a thread about it and brings it back to your attention

For the experience. To give my feedback on the questions so that maybe the exam would be better for others. A Windows 7 MCTS would only be a side benefit, I don't forsee it having much real world use to me.

You guys realize that you won't receive the results until after the final exam has been released ?

You can usually find out if you have passed a Microsoft beta exam within 8 to 12 weeks by checking the results on the prometric site. You don't get the official results until later, though.

I could have swore that the print out page said 6 weeks (but i was hoping they got them done early)

It also said we would get the results prior to the final exam releasing.

I wish it said 6 weeks, but I've got mine right here and it says:

You should receive your score report by mail before the live version of this exam is released. Score reports are usually sent eight weeks after the beta period ends. However, the processing of some beta exams might require additional time.

Note the usage of the terms "should" and "might" - so it could be 8 weeks, or less or more. Yar. I hate having to feign patience...

I've waited patiently for 5 weeks, i want those darn results.

I wouldnt care so much if i knew that i failed or passed, either way, but I really dont know if i did or not.

I'm with you, Jordus. The test itself isn't a big deal to me. I feel like a friggin' kid before Christmas or something.

I'm betting on 12 weeks, though. So many people took this test... or at least signed up for it.

Go check now, it's on Prometric and on my MS transcript too.

Hey Revenue, I think we (Australia and NZ) need to wait a bit longer. I checked too and says 'Tested' on both the transcript and prometric. I cant wait much longer, pass or fail.

Heh, so much for living on false hope and inflated dreams. Looks like I'm going to get the opportunity to sit this exam again at some point.
