IOS query - IP only

I now have a 2610 and a 2501 for my CCENT/CCNA studies. A 2950 is on the way too.

The routers both have IOs version 12.3 and from looking up the image name online they appear to be IP only.

Will this limit my use of them for CCENT/CCNA study? I have already found that I can't set them up for SSH because I need an IOS with a higher feature set.

SSH in a home lab is kinda overdone. Do you expect the traffic will be intercepted, probably not. Just know the correct procedure to initiate SSH protocol.

You might, however, want to find a router that is capable of SDM.
