cable types

Hello,
I have a network assignment to complete which asks for me to set up a small office network specificly focussing on cable types for 7-8 people and 1 printer to 3-4 people. Can anyone please help regarding which cable type would be best to use and recommendations for connectors.

i think cat5 100baset would be fine not that expencive ether you could make one at you own and it widely suported
you should connect them with a star topology probably peer to peer

HiYa Kimberly - would definitely be a 100BaseT setup using Cat5e cable.
I would think depending on how the desktops and printers are located that you could run this as a simple peer to peer network with a couple of 5 port switches.
