THe Beast is slain (700)
The first time was a 598.
After reviewing the material I was not so good on, and reading the feedback of others here, I am more confident on slaying the Beast this time.
If I fail this time, as I have read here, I will not be alone in facing the beast twice and losing.

I am now MCSA : Security
You certs say that you have MCSA, Sec+, and A+. I thought that the MCSA sec would need an additional test. I only see 270,290,291, A+, and Sec+. Is that all you need now? -
hill1221 Member Posts: 34 ■■□□□□□□□□Security+ counts as elective for MCSA, MCSE as well as Security specialization.
Check the certifcation planner at the MCP website.I make technology work for people, not people work for technology! -

I just checked... I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but knwminus is right. Security+ only counts as one security elective. In addition to Security+ you need 299, 227, 350, or 351 as well. Do you have any of these?

hill1221 Member Posts: 34 ■■□□□□□□□□It seems that the information I got the Security+ can be both an elective and Security specialization is true.
I went to the MCP site today and my transcript shows both MCSA and MCSA : SecurityI make technology work for people, not people work for technology! -
