JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,091 AdminHey, doesn't the EC-Council teach anything about proper electrical grounding and ESD prevention in a computer forensic lab?

hey man this is not real environment its just for Practice, in the future when i get my Class 100 Clean Room i will take Care lol -
JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,091 AdminYou can construct an ESD-free environment that's not a clean room. I've worked in labs where grounded floor mats, table covers, lab coats, and wrist straps were all that was required for working with very ESD-sensitive equipment (also add humidifiers and anti-static sprays if you like.) Remember, with forensic testimony in a court of law, you'll need to demonstrate that your lab and storage environment is not harmful to the media and equipment that you are examining.
