Passed ONT Today
So its over.... passed ONT today which completes the epic saga that was the CCNP.
I did the exams in order (BSCI, BCMSN, ISCW, ONT) Passed BSCI way back on December 1st 2007 so its taken me a while but with full time work and only self study things take time.
For the ONT I used the usual stuff, Ciscopress book, CBT Nuggets and Train Signal. I must say that the more i compare CBT nuggets with Train signal my opinion is that Train Signal is so much better. Sure Jeremy is easier to listen to and makes some funny remarks, but Chris Bryant hits all the exam topics in so much more detail and depth. I swear some questions from the exam were straight from some of the Train Signal videos. Also thanks to everyone from this site for their responses to some of my posts.
So yea probably about 4 to 5 months worth of study for the ONT, maybe around 10 hours a week. Final score was 942. Didn't drop below 900 for any of the CCNP exams.
So yea thats me done. Gonna have a few beers and some of my Johnnie Walker Blue Label tonight and not think about cisco exams for a least a year.
