I took the 70-642 on saturday morning. Every other time ive taken an exam I get the email from MS the next morning.

This time, its monday morning and still no email. Anyone ever get delays like this?

I really dont want to have to speak to some indian guy at the regional support center. icon_cry.gif

I think mine usually take a day or two. I don't really check often though. Maybe it takes an extra day or so since it was a Saturday. I wouldn't worry about it.

I've had it take 2-3 business days before.
    IT guy since 12/00

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...

Even when i take them on saturday it will pop up on sunday morning in my email.

A friend even took his Sec+ the same time i was taking my exam and his has already hit CompTIA.

I guess this could be related to their network issues that prometric has been having.

Also when i finished my exam, it didnt print. They had to wrestle with it for a good 10 mins to get my report. icon_lol.gif

Yeah, it does sometimes come through quickly, but the "standard" is that it takes a couple business days for the test center to upload info and then another couple business days for Microsoft to register it. Given the issues Prometric has been having lately, it's somewhat miraculous you've gotten through the exam & got a printout!

Did you by any chance take a gander at your profile/history on the Prometric site? You can see if the pass is registered there, and once it is it will be off to MS within a short while. My last test took about 2 business days I think to show up at MS, and that was just a couple weeks ago.

So I guess what I'm saying is that you need to just feign some patience for a day or two... ;)

I took an exam on Thursday and have yet to receive an e-mail as of this morning, (Monday). I am not concerned as it shows up on my MS Transcript.

I am really disappointed with that logo creation feature. I was really hoping I could create this monster amalgam with all of my certs, but it basically just lets you change the text to the specific MCTS, MCITP, etc.

    Agreed, logo maker sucks.

My last test did take a few days to update. Earlier test were often updated the next day.

Are you using IE? Firefox doesn't work well with the MCP site.

No way would I hire you, that's such a dated cert.

I wouldn't hire anyone who wasn't at least a "Microsoft Certified Professional IT Security Technology Systems Specialist Administrator Professional Engineer 2009 Advanced Enterprise Virtualization Expert R2" or better.

P.S. You'd be a shoe-in for a Product Manager role with Microsoft (that's a marketing job btw) with product naming skills like that.
