in CCNA & CCENT
Hi,
I have just finished college and now i am planning to get my ccna. Firstly my main issue is im slightly confused as to 'where to start'.
Should i just get the books reccommended around here and follow it chapter to chapter or should i do something else.
Also i have a cisco aironet 1200 access point. Is this any good for practice?
Sorry i sound so confused but i just dont know how to start properly...
Thanks

blackninja Member Posts: 385I would get a copy of CBTnuggets for the CCNA and just watch the CCENT part.
Then read the CCENT book by Wendell Odom
To do some labs get a copy of GNS3 and once you've gone through CBTNuggets you'll be ready for some labs. Or you could get yourself a real lab, check ebay out.
Then book the exam for the ICND1 (CCENT)
Once you've passed your CCENT then go for the ICND2 to be a CCNA.
You could go for the single exam (640-802) but if you are new to networking I would go for the 2 exam route.Currently studying:
CCIE R&S - using INE workbooks & videos
Currently reading:
