in CCNA & CCENT
Hi,
Is ISDN in the exam in a lot of detail? I was doing some prac qns and there were qns asking about DDr, dialling number lookup, interesting trigger traffic, dialer profiles etc...
I never saw any of this in my CCNA guide book and on the Cisco site it just says(among others) :
-Describe different methods for connecting to a WAN
-Troubleshoot WAN implementation issues
Advise pls?Thanks!

I believe ISDN has been removed from most of the material and hasn't been prominent for a while. Same with IGRP, which has been slowly phased out.Studying for MCSE: Server Infrastructure (70-414 left)

Dubuku57 Member Posts: 81 ■■□□□□□□□□Thanks..this is the site i was mentioning also. Thought "Describe different methods for connecting to a WAN" might include ISDN since it is a circuit-switching method.
Anyway this is gd news also, thanks!! -
Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModNope, there aren't any ISDN topics on the 640-802 like there were on the 640-801. You trade it for wireless, IPv6, and expanded security topics. . . but no ISDN.
