Wireless Mesh Networking
Anyone familiar with up-to-date mesh technologies? Or know of a better forum to ask?
I've been trying to find as much info as I can, but Mesh technologies are so broad it's hard to find any in-depth implementations. This is definitely a shot in the dark for this board, but I'm looking for any suggestions or direction for a mesh vendor or protocol or anything that can support the following:
Highly Scalable
Multiple Active Gateways
Low Latency
High Throughput
I've scoured through whitepapers on AODV-ST, MeshCluster, BATMAN, Open-Mesh ... the list goes on ... But I can't seem to find any real-life implementations/vendors/solutions.
The network needs to be what would be considered to be a MANET with both stationary and mobile nodes and multiple active gateways. Definitely forward-thinking future technologies --- but this type of network is coming fast ... hopefully a solution exists today, but it may not.
