State of IT jobs in Toronto

I'm wondering about jobs in networking and system admins in GTA area. How are things like there with the recession in the works?

What are salary ranges for an experienced system admin (I know it can vary, but wanted an idea).

There are jobs available but lots of competition. Although I havn't heard of a big amount of layoffs in the field I know alot that were having hiring freezes until recently. People are being hired though.

The average salary is a complete guess depends on the city the company and the job. Could be anywhere from $40-$110k. On a guess I would put most people with about 5 years experience between $50 and $80k. Hope that helps.

Monster and workopolis are the two biggest job sites out this way.
