Is it me or is SDM impossible to get

in CCNA & CCENT
I just got a Cisco 851 Router and it has SDM express installed on it.

I'm told I can just go to www. cisco. com /go/sdm, click Download Software, select Cisco Router and Security Device Manager.... and get the full SDM

but when I go there it says, "NOTE: there are currently no files for this type.

Is it actually possible for someone that doesn't have a support contract to download SDM?

    odd, getting 403's on posting instructions

    To any of the mods, something weird is up - I was getting a 403 saying T.F.T.P. (without the periods) was a bad word. This is surprising because I can't imagine why that would be a bad word, and because my original post didn't have the word in it at all!

    go Shortcut Redirect - Cisco Systems

    click on download software, guessing you've already gotten this far

    click on SDM Sales Demo. On the next page, there is a link to download the latest version of SDM

    I keep a copy on my webserver to nab whenever I need it so I don't have to jump through cisco's hoops

    Wow, thanks Forsaken. I'm downloading it now. Isn't it odd that you cant find it under the download page, but its under the Demo page? Oh well, I finally got a copy so I'm happy.

    Odd, never run into it before. But as I said, it was extremely weird that I was getting a 403 for that because initially, the word wasn't present in any form whatsoever.

    Yeah, it's weird, but Cisco is always moving stuff around, and I think their web team doesn't always double check it's work. Being able to find the information you want on Cisco's web site is it's own kind of voodoo sometimes

    You'd have to ask Johan why it specifically checks for that. There might be other forbidden words as well. T-FTP is the only one that seems to regularly trip people up though because of software upgrades.
