So I have SDM installed on my router and on my PC. It barely fits on the router and runs pretty slow. but when I wanted to run it from the PC, I log in, and when it brings up the page that would normally be the SDM, its all text, like shtml.
Any body seen this before or have an idea why its loading as text?
Thanks

When SDM is installed on a PC , Internet Explorer may display HTML source code when
you attempt to launch SDM. To fix this problem, choose Tools Internet Options
Advanced. Then scroll to the Security section, check Allow Active Content to Run in Files
on My Computer, and click Apply. Then relaunch SDM...

I have another question now. Watching CBT nuggets, I see Jeremy going to the edit interfaces tab, selecting an interface, and clicking edit. For him it brings up an edit window. When I click edit, for any of my interfaces, nothing happens. ( and the edit button is not grayed out)
thanks.
Ok now this is weird too. Some stuff just doesn't open. Like when I click on additional tasks, which I think is where DHCP is. It doesn't do anything, it just displays the last butts content for NAC. Why does some stuff just not respond? -

I faced pretty much the same issues... SDM works better with older version of JAVA.. try installing v1.4.2_05 and uninstalling the newer version completely.
I couldn't get to see additional tasks at all until i got rid of latest JRE.. hope this helps.Wish List :

MachX85 Member Posts: 66 ■■□□□□□□□□Thank you, that was it. I went to Java and got Java 6 update 6. Like you said, only after uninstalling the newer version ( 6 - 13) did it finally start working. Few, glad to have this straightened out.
