Is a 1721 ok for a frame relay switch?

Just trying to eek out enough frame relay knowledge for my CCNA.
I currently have a 1721 with a dual serial WIC. I was thinking that would probably be good enough for a frame relay switch if I connected two 2501's as the spokes.
Most of the posts I have seen show people using 2520's or 2600's though.
If there is a way I can use my existing 1721 that would be great...
Thanks,
Drew

And a hub with just one spoke doesn't let you practice the the spoke to spoke configuration and see the spoke to spoke communication.
I think the 1700s are supported now under Dynamips/Dynagen/GNS3 -- so that might be an option.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -

The Techlab says a frame relay can be setup for 3 even though 4 is better.

I'm just not sure how deep I need to get into frame relay for the CCNA exam. A buddy at work said he hardly got any frame relay questions at all on the test. I want to make sure I am prepared though.

If it's on the exam blueprint, it's fair game on the test.
