    I wish you good luck.
You know the material, you don't have nothing to be afraid.
Read multiple times the questions and have 100% of what's being ask.
Be positive and the most important be calm.

I would stick with Odom if you used it to pass ICND1. I did, and I'm getting ready to test ICND2 in about two weeks. It's heavy reading, but his examples are awesome. I especially recommend it because you are going to the two exam route and Lammle only has the combined as far as I know. This one is more command intensive (EIGRP, OSPF, Frame Relay) and Odom makes it "easy." Congrats on your pass and good luck moving forward.

Thanks. I ended up getting Odem's ICND2 book. I already used his ICND1 book so I'm used to the format. between that and CBT Nuggets I hope to do alright.

I've just started my journey and currently going through Odam's ICND1 and ICND2 books. I was debating whether to get them initially by now find them a fantastic read... So for anyone who is deciding on Odam's Cisco Press Material or Sybex material, i suggest Odam's all day long. But thats only my preference...

Quick question to Mach (and others) how much does the CCENT exam cost exactly? I know the CCNA is under £150 for the exam, but how much more do the exams cost via the 2 exam route? Also, besides breaking up the material into 2 digestable chunks, does anyone know of any disadvantages of the 2 exam route? i.e. do employers favour this less than the straight CCNA?

Also, how quick is it possible to take the exam once you apply? i.e. is the next available date usually weeks or months away?

    Cheers in advance guys
