Terminology Question on a job posting

I have a second interview for a job that has a qualifaction that talks about distributed desktop infrastructure. Can anyone explain to me what that is? The HR guy seemed really happy with me on the phone and got me a interview with the tech guys really quick. I'm just not sure what this Distributed desktop infrastructure is all about. Maybe I have been doing it, maybe not I just don't want to say Uhhhhhhhh what? in the interview tomorrow.

It seems like this would be referring to some kind of centrally stored solution that provides mobility and a consistent environment to users. This could either be something simple like roaming profiles, or something more involved where everything is virtualized.

    Thanks Dynamic,

I figured something along those lines. Its a software company so I'm assuming in the datacenters they have something like this. Virtualization is another thing they mention in the job posting, I'm really hoping it goes well tomorrow. It will cut my 100 mile round trip down to 15 minute trip to the train, plus more money and sounds like better advancement.

I am pretty sure this is what they are asking about Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Overview
