Hi guys:

I am newbie here and I am interesting it studying for CCNA.

First, I would like to know how many computer do I need to run the cisco system such as routers & switches?

Second, how many routers & switches do I have to buy?

I planned to buy 2 routers 2501 16/16mb and I 2950 switch from ciscokits. So are these stuff enough to run for CCNA or should I have to buy one more switch or router?

Thanks much and I would appreciate your comments.

Firstly Welcome to the board :)

I havent really been using that much equipment for the CCNA at the minute i have 2 x 2600 routers and 2 2950 switches. Ive mainly used packet tracer to study any configuration topics.

I think the kit i have is enough for the CCNA but others here may be able to advise you abit more on it.

It all depends on the path you take. If you plan on going further into Cisco then this wouldn't be a bad start. I would suggest either way, checking Ebay for better pricing.
