IPv6 lab question (XP)
drew2000
All,
I am working on setting up my lab to run IPv6 dual stack. The routers and the switches are working fine and everyone can ping everyone else.
My XP box is where my head scratching begins. I got IPv6 installed and everything is working. But I can't figure out if I need to set the "network" part of the IPv6 address.
I have a link local address, and can ping the routers fine. And from my routers, I can ping the XP box fine. Everything works.
I think I should define the network somewhere so I can have a "global unicast" address.
I can see how it could learn that info through NDP, but I have no way to verify since my "ipconfig /all" shows only link local address.
Thanks,
Drew
