MCDBA non existent?

Im looking to get my MCDBA, but it looks like all the exams for the 'SQL Administration" and "SQL Design" are all retired. Anyone have any recommendations?
It looks like all the other remaining requirements for MCDBA can be met with Win2k03 exams (eg. 70-290 and 70-293). Total 4 exams (2+2)
I guess MS is really pushing their 2008 SQL and doing away with the MCDBA title to implement MCTS - which in my opinion, really has no recognition (yet) in the real world. I really liked the MCDBA title, straight and to the point and also a job title.

These are the new certs (these are for SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008 certs are also available):

It may not be MS's fault. I have heard from too many people in the DBA field that certification is really considered a joke. That makes me sad, but what can you do?
