MCSA/MCSE live or virtual?
Supermiguel
I have a server at home, that was running linux . I want to persuit the MCSA/MCSE test, i have use windows 2003 in the pass. My question for a better "test" learning experience should i install windows server 2003 and use it as my home server OS, or should i keep linux and make virtual machines of w2k3 and wxp and do labs that way.. ????
Thanks

shouldnt matter since windows inside xen/vmware/etc will behave as a real machine. installing apps/etc will be just the same. the diff may be perf depending on how much you vm, what you run as a vm (exchange, sql, etc), and the hw under the vm env.

whats better for "studying" for the MCSA/MCSE test?

As mentioned, it's not going to matter much. Virtual machines are more convenient, and those are what I use to study.
