i did BCA(bachelors in computer applications) and now thought of doing CCNA. With self study can we pass out CCNA or we have to go for training institutes to complete CCNA.

The CCNA can be done with self study. I recently spent 6 months completing it that way. All you need is a couple good books, maybe some training videos and simulation software. And if you have money they maybe some real gear instead.
