I would have expected that Twitter would insist that staff members set decent passwords after last time but I guess not.

Getting attacked with a DDoS isn't particularly unusual these days. Annoy somebody or even just exist on the internet and somebody will try to DDoS you eventually. Even the small botnets are usually sufficient to blast somebody off the internet.

I heard about them on the radio getting an attack as well. Twitter needs to shape up on a few things..

Just because they have their CCSP doesn't mean they are going to be good. They might be an idiot, might have dumped, or just be plain lazy.
