Which certificate will be best for me...

Hi All,
I am basically from software testing background with 4 yr. experience, from last 2 + year , I was involve in security testing of web and client application.
Now I want to make carrier in pen testing, which certificate will be the best for me and why?

    Security+ is almost a basic for info sec careers. At the very least it teaches you how to think.
    CEH gives you the foundation in pen testing.
    OSCP is hands on pen testing.
    ECSA is hands on pen testing

    Agree with GAngel.

    I'll also add GPEN certfication from SANS.


    And more important, while gaining the certfications, try to get a job doing basic security stuff, that will help heaps !

    Eventually, keep the CISSP & SSCP certs in mind.
    Certs: GSTRT, GPEN, GCFA, CISM, CRISC, RHCE

    I agree.. those certificaiton definitely help, but nothing can beat the job experience..
