Good Day,

According to the cisco website the below IOS versions of the 2621XM cisco router supports SDM. I would like to know if the 12.4(15)T9 and the 12.4(6)T2 IOS version fits into any of the below categories. Because i do not unserstand, what, for example 12.2(11)T6 or later means.

12.2(11)T6 or later, 12.3(2)T or later , 12.3(1)M or later ,12.3(4)XD and
12.2(15)ZJ3.

Thank you

Those IOS images would support SDM. You can always use the Cisco Feature Navigator to see what features a certain IOS will support.

or later, in Ciscospeak, means newer version ie. 12.3 is later (or newer) than 12.2, 12.4 is later (or newer) than 12.3, etc...

The 2610XM router is the minimum router requirement needed for SDM in the 2600 series routers ( 2610XM, 2611XM, 2620XM, 2621XM, 2650XM, and 2651XM and Cisco 2691) but you can also install it on other routers such as 1801,2801and 1760. and it needs to meet a spicific IOS ver (12.3/12.4).

and YES, the 12.4(15)T9 and the 12.4(6)T2 will run SDM. Thats what it means when it says 12.2(11)T6 or later

    I have a 2621XM with 128D/32F and 12.4-19b Advanced Security IOS with SDM 2.5

Check out this link for all the SDM info..

    Hope this helps
