Phone Interview with Google

I had a phone interview with Google today for a Field Tech position. It was literally the most technical interview I have had. It was 40 minutes of non-stop technical question and the lady said I was quick (I talk fast). I was impressed with the scope of the questions, though I got hung up on a couple. I did have an answer for everyone. I'll let you guys know when I hear something!

Well apparently I could do it because I have an on site interview! Have to give them a date for when I would like to come up and luckily it's at a local office so means I only miss one day of work!

Seriously though, I've had interviews that I felt didn't go as well for various reasons but things turned out well. Sometimes it's something you catch yourself doing, or just an odd vibe - but you never know. Good luck!

im sorry to hear that.

I had an interview a while back with clear (clear wire). The phone interview with the head of networking went well, but he was in Washington state. I had to have my in person interview with the head of the local center. Needless to say, things did not go as planned and I walked out of there knowing I had struck out.

Its a bitter feeling but just take this interview as a learning experience. Next interview you'll be that much better.

I'm sure the news stings, but going through the process got you valuable interviewing experience. Hang in there; something will come along sooner or later.

Even interviewing for google is cool as heck.

I doubt they use windows, so ill never be able to work for them. Although I think it would be fun.

I don't know, seems my lot in life is to not get the jobs I really want. I will say I am happy to at least be working and the search will continue for other means of employment.

Dude, I worked crap jobs for nearly seven years. Hopefully it doesn't take you that long to land your dream job, but don't get all nihilistic on us. This too shall pass.
