Question

I am currently trying to decide which test series to take. I have taken college classes on WIN 2000 platform for first half for win 2000 pro and server. This fall we now have XP pro and win 2003 server for the active directory and tcp/ip class. I just finished my network plus exam and am trying to decide if I should start with win 2000 platform ( a bit more familar) or Win xp platform (I have been using at home since it came out) for the tests? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I would do XP & actually did. XP & 2000 a pretty similiar but yet very different. I work in a XP Client with 2k servers & AD but I'm doing 2003 because I know less about it.

Well, 2003 track will last longer, but there are plenty of 2000 servers out there to keep folks busy.

You could take MCSE 2000 track and upgrade to 2003 with two exams. Or take MCSE 2003 and two exams would get you MCSA 2000.

There is the argument that in the end there will be more NT->2000 Server upgrades than 2000->2003 upgrades.

Considering all of this I still am pursing 2003.
I'm not a complete idiot... some parts are missing.
