    Funny...except i would never consider OSX more stable than Windows.

    After having used Linux and Vista for a while now I am fairly certain that as a desktop Linux is not really any more stable than Windows. Now it does run more smoothly than Vista on my limited hardware...

    I havn't dabbled much in linux, but after supporting OSX (2,3,4,5) desktops for nearly 2 years I can say that OSX reliablilty is laughable.

    Permissions get effed up every other day and have to be rebuilt, usually using third party tools like DiskWarrior because the builtin tool either errors out, or the system wont even boot.

    I can almost always fix a broken windows install by replacing a file or two via recovery console, or WinRE for Vista/7.
