I used to play regularly and really enjoyed it but dont really get chance anymore! I used to like playing on pogo.com. I bet i'm completely useless now, not that i was ever any good anyway

I know how to play.

I use to be around 1400-1700 level when I was in high school (yes I was on the chess team). But now I am probably about 1000. My dad was a b ranked player (b A master, grandmaster) so he was very very good. I was never able to beat him.

I would like to study chess as a hobby and get good again.

We should all play somewhere in a private tournament or something

I know you can create a free account at Chess.com and play. And you can also create private password-protected tournaments/leagues so only your friends can join. I think you can do the same thing on Yahoo.com, not sure.

I love Chess.com. Very cool site. knwminus, I have a full library and we live in the same area... I've been looking for a chess study partner for years!
