A lot of the technologies/hardware listed on there is really old and not relevant to the current exam.

Is there anything more current that you know of and would recommend?

For CCNA labs? No, not really. For CCNP you could use the lab portfolios for each exam, also the portable command guides have some decent practice stuff in them.

I used that lab book for my CCNA studies. Honestly, I felt that it did not go in depth enough.

It was good to go through it once just to have some labs to do though. Actually, I think that one thing that was good about it, but wasn't intentional were the errors.

The lab book had a few errors that I found, I had to correct these errors in order to finish the lab. So, from a real life troubleshooting standpoint, it actually worked out for that reason.

I think that if I wanted to freshen up my skills, I would go through the lab book again. I do think that there are better lab books available, probably for a more reasonable price too.

    I hope that helps
