I am new to cisco software and hardware.
I have my Network+ and have been working with smaller networks for around 5 years. I want to learn all there is to know about networks with cisco.
Can anyone recommend me books to start learning CCNA stuff.
Thanks!
Jamie

ICND 1/2 books by Odom will be fine.

Maybe look for a lab book. You'll want packet tracer or at least GNS. You'll have a harder time understanding STP without at least packet tracer or live equipment. Not sure if GNS with the module will work for STP/switching stuff.

this is the book I found to be the best. I also had the Cisco Press ICND 1 & 2 but found todd lammle to be the better, he explains things better, imo.

If you really want to learn you would benefit greatly from buying your own equipment and setting up a lab. You can get a decent set up for around $350
You should also look into CBT nuggets CCNA and use it in conjunction with your lab

The ICND1 and ICND2 books from Wendell Odom are really good. If you can, purchase a kit from CiscoKits and start doing the labs. I use the Trainsignal videos too which I think are quite useful.
