Dam? Wheres my cert?

I read someone's post about not recieving their "proof of cert" in the mail, I just realized I have not gotten my MCP welcome kit? Its been since June 20th I believe. How long has it taken for you guys with Microsoft?

That is much longer than average (which used to be about 6 weeks tops) so you should contact MCPhelp@microsoft.com with the exam details (from your score report). They usually respond within 48 hours. -

Actually Garv, we have he same problem. I passed the first MS Exam (70-215) last June 21 and until now the Welcome Kit is still not in my hand.
I don't know if MS know my place (Philippines)
I've call MS and asked for assistance regarding my MCP Welcome Kit and they re-ordered again and again. I have two certs (215 and 270) and still my welcome kit is still shipped according to MCP Website.

Ricka182 & allylaurente - You guys are on opposite sides of the spectrum huh?I sent them an email & I'm actually not that concerned since I'll be getting my MCSA here before 05'. It would just be nice.
Comptia's came quick like 2 weeks. MS is slacking! -

Microsoft is extremely hard to get a hold of. If they respond to you i will be shocked. -

They are always extremely helpful and to the point, and a resend it never a problem.

Thats great! We just had a big discussion on that in my Windows Xp class. The teacher said that its really hard to get a hold of Microsoft. I even know people that said the same. Glad thats not true. -

Well, I think it matters a great deal what information you supply in your message. If it is complete, and clear, and provide your MCP ID (if you received one), then they usually respond within a couple of days and take action within the week following. -

I was very dissapointed by the appearance of the certification
I have other certifications that look pimp and dont mind framing and showing off, but the microsoft one looked so cheezy.
It would be nice if they offered a nice printed one on some good paper or something, heck even charge $5 for it and I woulda done it.
My microsoft cert stays in the welcome kit box
I heard some people like to include it in a folder when they interview - so I will probably do this next time I interview.
Just dissapointed because I wanted to be the computer nerd and frame them around my office -

I got a response back from MS today. Apparently I didnt request the welcome kit. Sure thought I did.. though it's odd that you should even have to. But hey, I'm just a tech...I'm not a complete idiot... some parts are missing. -

Well I got my Welcome Kit Tuesday. Just a few days after emailing them, they rushed it to my house. -

I still frame all my certs no matter how ugly there are. Waiting on my CCNA now, hope it doesn't look like crapMS took about 4 weeks to get my MCP to me and 3 for my MCSA, so not too bad
