Hi Guys,

I am, rather my company is looking into sending me to Australia for a boot camp.
Basically I want to finish my MCSA before December this year (only passed 70-270 and still got 3 exams left) and boot camp the last 3 exams to get my MCSE.

Is it possible to pay for just those three courses/modules and if you have been on a training/boot camp in Australia could you share with me your experiences

Also open to people who have had training and boot camps in other countries that have a center in Australia.

Thanks guys and happy studying!!!

Kind Regards,
David

Thanks for the reply, not many Australians on techexams are there...

Brisbane Melbourne or Sydney are first option, but open to any suggestions.

    David

Well if your not already here skip them all and come on over to New Zealand! I wouldn't believe anything an Aussie tought me!

... But Failing that I personally would go Melbourne or Sydney if I had the choice. Nice places for a short visit.

Well Melbourne is not what it used to be. 3-4 years ago it was a pretty safe city. I was able to come back home alone pretty late at night without a worry. Now I'd need an assault rifle to make it back home in one piece. Sydney aint too different, I've heard (I can be wrong).

Where are you, SWM, if I could ask.

wow has it got that bad now? I remember all the times I was out late there and never even crossed my mind about safety, Always got home unbotherd and either you found someone to have a random friendly yarn with or people left ya alone :)

Looks like I'm moving to Sydney in December now too! Be doing lots of late night public transport trips so hopefully its not that bad... >_<

The 96 point thrashing we had from your guys on Sep. 4 still hurts. Not that I expected the Bombers to win, but still.

Melbourne is still safe! Just be smart (not a smart arse!) and you'll be fine! :)

As for boot camps, I was going to go to Excom for my 70-290, but the price is about AU$3500 which is insane! Especially when I started reading the book and found out how straight forward and easy the material is (helps if your working in a server admin type role)

Change of plans though, I will be in Sydney mid next month for a Symantec Endpoint Protection Admin course... Hope it goes well, will be staying at the travelodge wynard...

Course is 5-days and then Symantec Certified Specialist exam on Saturday...Wish me luck...
