Bsci = me!!!
Well I passed today... I have to be honest I feel a little violated.
I really did not think I passed, I clicked end exam to many times and it logged all the way out of the app. I had to go to the testing proctor to find out, talk about a nervous walk.
"DEAD MAN WALKING"!!!!
Really though this puts every other test I have every taken to shame.
-I used official book and lab guide (did most of this at least 2 times)
-Work with BGP, multicast, OSPF, etc daily
-CBT Nuggest
-Some free Videos from my work (can't remember what they are called but it is the free online training catalog a lot of big business have)
-Oriely Cisco IOS cook book
-Oriely BGP book
-Countless online sites (Petes Packet, this site etc)...
I am still amazed that I passed, I really didn't feel as if I was going to pass when I finished the last question.
I spent over 25 minutes on one of the sims, because I couldn't get a very simple command to run. While the sims are better than the other cisco test I have taken they are still not like the real thing. And beware LOTS OF SIMS!!!
Well that leaves ISCW and ONT. Got about 8 months.
Will do ISCW first because I have the books and hopefully it is harder. Saving easiest for last.
Just to make sure if I get the other two done by June I will be set for 3 years or the 3 years after I finish the next professional level exam (like CCIP or CCSP) etc...???

Your CCNP is good for three years. So from the time you finish the last exam you have three years to take another pro level or written exam.An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made. -

I felt the same way when I took mine, thought for sure I failed it, or if I was going to pass it was going to be a low score.
Ended up getting a 90, talk about a surprise.
Good luck on future study's!Working on CCNP, passed BSCI, Currently working on ONT. -

A hearty congrats!Lab first, ask questions later -
liven Member Posts: 918For BSCI -- yes. Most people try to immediately forget all the IS-IS they learned for the exam, and in the Brain's haste to oblige, you may forget other things -- like how you got to the test center, what color your car is, and maybe even what's a car is....
So true!
At least it is over and I can move on to something new. I am looking forward to ISCW, the stuff on there seems really interesting to me. Hopefully this one will not take nearly as long... But with my luck it probably will.encrypt the encryption, never mind my brain hurts. -

Certification preparation is difficult with so much going on, any free time you get your family will want to spend with you. Well done! -

I'll keep all this feeling of fail in mind and save the freaking out until I see the result (10/16).
