Both are just north of Atlanta. Kennesaw State has a nice looking campus, and it's the 3rd largest university in GA (behind UGA and Georgia State).
Southern Poly is much smaller, but they're really a technical university. I think they were considered a branch campus of Georgia Tech many years ago. I've attended classes here, and it's a good school, but don't expect a big social experience here.Help eradicate blood cancers with a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. -

I know there is a lot of hype about "Networking", but I strongly recommend taking up a Computer Science or Management Information Systems at one of the public universities in Georgia vs a private technical school/online school(Not hating).- Cheaper
- You will have a college atmosphere
- More of a well-rounded education
- Normally has all the major accreditations (ABET, Regionally, etc)
- Study abroad opportunities
- Typically better job placement

I totally agree with you. The last couple of years I am seeing so many of these "tech" schools creating "network security" degrees. They pray on eager people with hopes of going from working at the auto plant straight to CISO and they have no idea how to set up IIS on a Windows server. -

Probably very little and it would relate to risk management. The degree in general should be very technical and not really theory based. The forensic stuff and pen test bit may touch it but you'll be mastering the how not the why.
