VSphere in a box - my Home Lab setup

I read up on xtravirt's website on how to install ESX within Workstation for testing purposes. However, they use windows, and I use Ubuntu 64-bit. I feel I get better performance from Ubuntu. Therefore I'm going to document how I'm setting up my home lab (this includes installing ESX, Openfiler, VCenter and some of the other management procedures).
The documents will be available for download from my blog as they come available. The first one is up! Installing ESX within Workstation 6.5 (on Ubuntu 9.04 64-bit).

I've updated my blog, on preparing a database for VCenter Installation. The next blog will cover the actual installation. Just thought I'd share. Please feel free to share any comments/criticisms etc...
